Psalm 1

How happy is that

who does not follow the advice of the wicked,

does not imitate the conduct of sinners,

Nor does he sit in the seat of mockers!1

On the contrary, your satisfaction

It is in the law of the Lord,

and on this law he meditates day and night2

It's like a planted tree

at the edge of running waters:

Bears fruit at the right time

and its leaves do not wither.

Everything he does prospers!3
