Final considerations

PIS/PASEP is an important social contribution created in Brazil to help formal workers have more money and a better quality of life. It is a program that has offered consistent benefits to registered workers throughout history.

However, although PIS/PASEP continues to be an important social protection framework in Brazil, there is still much work to be done to ensure that resources are used appropriately and maximize their benefits.

All sectors of society need to work together to ensure that money always goes to what is most needed. Furthermore, the modernization and simplification of two processes to obtain two PIS/PASEP benefits are also essential for its success.

In short, PIS/PASEP helped thousands of Brazilians over two years, and its success can only be confirmed if all stages of its implementation are completed.
